The brothers of Kensington-Bethesda would like to invite you to a charity competition between lodges across the state. All proceeds will be donated to the three winning lodges respective charities. First place donates 60%, second place 25%, third place 15%. Our goal for the first year is to have 20 lodges competing and have an all day fellowship event for brothers, their families, and those who may be interested in the craft.
Rules are as follows:
1)Team buy-in is $100 with three per team. Each team member gets a commerative T-shirt. Ticket price for non-team members is $10 and will include food and beverages and all the chili you can eat.
2)Each team must make five (5) gallons of their chili and submit an ingredident list for allergy purposes.
3)The ingredients of your chili may be prepared off-site (beans, meats, etc), but the final product must be completed on-site.
4)Teams will be working on their chili’s from 10am-12pm. Lunch will be ready at 12:30pm and judging will happen during that time as well.
This will be an all day event and the state park will be getting more information for certain activities available if you would like. T-shirts will be on sale at the event.
